Diet and Exercise – Your body is built to move. We live in a very sedentary society. It is vital for your wellbeing, especially as you age, that you get regular exercise at least 3 times per week. It can help strengthen the body – muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, as well as boost cardiovascular health to keep your heart and blood pumping to every organ in the body including your brain. Exercise boosts metabolism and allows you to use the food you put in efficiently as energy as well as keep your weight in check.
Spinal Alignment – We all understand why we need to rotate our tires and do regular alignments on our vehicles. It is no different for your body. When in alignment your body runs as it is supposed to. When something is subluxated (misaligned) it throws off the balance. It can make other parts overcompensate and wear down more quickly. Your Work Environment – Many of us sit for hours and hours day in and day out. If your setup (desk, chair, monitor) is not ergonomically friendly you may be doing your body a huge disservice. Also make sure to take breaks, get up and stretch, go for a walk. Your body will thank you!
